Horse Tracks Through the Sage won the 2002 "Fred Olds Western Poetry Award", competition sponsored by Westerners International. The Award will be presented during the WI Breakfast and Book Auction on Saturday, October 11 at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, during the annual Western History Association meeting.
